Stomvi, a leading Spanish manufacturer of brass instruments, has announced its commitment to the International Trumpet Research Center (ITRC) through a major donation in early 2024. This contribution will be essential for the creation and launch of the International Journal of Trumpet Research (IJTR), an academic journal dedicated to trumpet research.
A boost for the study and development of the trumpet
The IJTR will become a reference space for the international trumpet community, offering a forum for the dissemination of original research, literature reviews, historical and pedagogical studies, repertoire analysis, and new technologies applied to the trumpet.
The journal will be available in digital format and will be published in April 2024.
